Tony Illis
Tony Illis is a business administrator and after his studies worked for five years for international hedge fund IMC as an equity derivatives trader on the trading floor of Amsterdam Exchanges. After that Tony spent three years as head of the Equity Derivatives desk of RDT, a subsidiary of Fortis Bank. Since 2003 Tony has been a consultant for financial markets organizations (banks, hedge funds, exchanges) and partner at management consulting company Seventrees. In this role Tony has seen all financial institutions in the Netherlands from the inside. In addition, Tony is CEO of TLM Academy, a Dutch training agency for financial institutions, affiliated with the University of Amsterdam and NIBE/NCOI. And Tony is the founder of Raeger Autism Center, the largest autism center in the Benelux. Tony is married and the father of two children.
Tony is also the author of the Book The Dealingroom, which is a compulsory textbook of the Financial Markets Professional – FiMa training.
Coen Streefland
After studying Financial Business Economics at Erasmus University, Coen started as a derivatives trader on the Amsterdam stock exchange. With the knowledge and experience he gained there, Coen subsequently worked for Rabobank for 7 years as a consultant to the business community on interest rate and currency risk. Subsequently, Coen started working at ING as Business Analyst Financial Markets Operations, where he got to know the entire value chain of the financial markets from front to back. Today, Coen views the value chain from the second line as a risk manager. First for ING, and now in the insurance world for Centramed.
In addition to his position as risk manager, Coen provides various financial training courses for TLM Academy, including Financial Risk Management I course from the Global Association for Risk Professionals (GARP). Coen also provides the post-graduate course Financial Markets Professional (FiMa) for UvA/TLM.
Wahbé Rezek
After studying Industrial Design Engineering with a focus on Technology, Wahbe began his career as a project manager at the City of Amsterdam. There, he successfully developed new processes and implemented new technologies, in a rather traditional organization. In 2018, Wahbe made the move to ING, where he worked as an IT Change Manager in Financial Markets. In the last years at ING, he has led an international program in Financial Markets, with a focus on the implementation of new technologies. Wahbe is currently working as a part-time IT project manager.
In 2022, he also started his own company, Future Focus, where he trains and advises companies on Artificial Intelligence and Automation. TLM Academy has a partnership with Wahbe and Future Focus, and through this collaboration we are offering the training program AI in the modern office: Boosting Productivity.
